I make SQL Server more responsive, more highly available, and easier to manage.

I entered I.T. in February 2008 and started working with SQL Server in late 2009 as a report writer using SSRS.  I was fascinated by the SQL Server engine underneath and quickly progressed to database administration. I found that I definitely liked that side of SQL Server a lot.  I earned an MCTS on SQL Server 2008 and this Spring earned  the Azure Fundamentals and Azure Data Fundamentals certifications. I love handling performance tuning, making SQL Server more highly available and designing solutions from the ground up.

Beyond SQL Server, I am an avid fan of Star Trek, a  college football fan in general, and in particular I am a huge fan of the Oklahoma Sooners.  When I am not working or yelling at the football players on TV, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids, doing whatever they are interested in at the moment.
